Sandra Oak is the President of Nsight Public Relations. She has more
than 20 years experience in strategic public relations, corporate and employee communications and integrated marketing communications. Sandra has a talent for forging strong relationships with the media and leveraging those relationships on behalf of her clients. She has directed national media campaigns and product publicity for such clients as Baxter/Dade Diagnostics, Roche Diagnostics Drugs of Abuse Testing, Kimberly-Clark Professional Health Care, Micro Design International, Enable Technologies and Encore Computer Corporation.
Sandra's corporate experience includes the position of Director of Marketing Communications with Sigma Diagnostics, where she implemented the marketing communications and public relations for five product lines - Profile Chemistry/Standards & Controls, Hemostasis, LDL/Special Chemistry, EIA (Enzyme Immunoassay) and Hematology/Histology. She has also held positions with MCG Health, Inc. as Director of Public Relations and Director of Community Relations & Quality Assurance with Unicare Health Facilities, Inc.
As an experienced publicist, Sandra has substantial expertise in all areas of public relations, including financial communications, product placement and acquisition communications. She has worked as a financial news editor with StratComm USA and as a former contributing editor to Banking Today magazine.
For client Kimberly-Clark Professional Health Care, she achieved free product placement on the television series, ER, for Kimberly-Clark's new surgical gown. She also developed communications for Kimberly-Clark's acquisitions of Tecnol Medical Products and Ballard Medical Products.
A popular speaker, Sandra has lectured extensively on the subjects of online public relations and integrated marketing communications. She has been honored with awards, including the Biomedical Marketing Association Award of Merit for the Sigma Diagnostics Website and local and regional ADDY Awards for print and video production.
